Design for theater auditions for the musical. Concept was used for postcards as well as poster size banners for the production’s advertizing campaign.

Chambers Interiors is a custom interior design company in Dallas, Texas. The client had a website that was difficult to navigate and the portfolio images were small. We decided on a design that would make the portfolio layout organized and easy for users to explore as well as make the images as big as possible with the space. The site is simple as it is designed to give the clients work all the attention and allow it to speak for itself. The portfolio is interactive and there are “pop-up” published articles to display Margaret Chambers’ ability to construct beautiful living spaces and be a part of the interior design dialogue.

Cycle Chap is a local start-up bicycle accessories shop. As the first site to be launched for the business I was honored to make the concepts imagined by the client become a reality. The site has a full online store functionality and makes it easy to contact the dealer directly. The site was launched in August, and now just in September Cycle Chap has already sold several helmets. I am anxious to see what the future holds for this client! The client has been doing a great job adding and editing content using the WordPress platform used for this site. Peddle on!

Brad Byrd is a friend who needed a new way of branding his website as to flow with his new album released in September 2011. He requested a website that would be simple and give the most basic information about his practice as it is developing. Most importantly viewers can sample the music, get informed on his tour dates, and stay in touch with where his music is going. I am excited to be a part of it!

Imagine an Ocean came to me for a redesign of their website. Having new van decals and with their business picking up, they requested the need for something more professional and viewer friendly. The site has been built with WordPress so now the client has the full ability to edit any content they may wish to change as well as continue with their blog right on the same site rather than having to edit it elsewhere and have a different platform for each site. The result was a look and feel that is now consistent with their identity.

My older brother Jon is a wonderful painter. It was my pleasure to make him a website for his work. It is a simple, clean, design using flash for his galleries. Because he has such a vast amount of work I chose to use flash and xml to manage each category. SlideShowPro is a helpful tool to get this done. Because there are many paintings, we decided to put them into categories, which make it easy to navigate based on interest.

Datamart requested a website redesign as their site was becoming visually outdated and content was difficult for viewers to find. I provided simple design solutions such as making the website wider, gave it clear and clean navigation, and redesigned the homepage to highlight their services, testimonials, and news. The clean redesign made pages with lots of content be much more manageable for viewers. Products are also featured in a more visually pleasing way by giving sufficient space to content and imagery. We also added a tutorial video on the homepage, which was a new idea for using a screencast that we implemented. A “call to action” was offered to the client in the upper right corner to let viewers receive a demo, which has proven to be very effective. The new design has made it all more pleasing to leverage the telephony company’s varied product offerings.

Aayan Creations is an event invitation design business that started from scratch along side the logo design and website design services offered. Because there was nothing to start with as far as identity goes, it was important to research imagery that lined up best with the business idea to show the client. The lotus flower became the winning concept and the logo was designed to capture that elegance that the client was looking for. The website design is simple, but has the complexity of patterns and colors that tie it all together. The interactive gallery, built with jQuery, is a highlight of the site that keeps viewers coming back and doing business with Aayan Creations.

New Life Fine Arts wanted to bring their site up to date and have all information easy to find and imagery of their productions needed more attention. Built with Drupal, the client now has the ability to update content at their choosing, which has been great for updating show times etc. The new site makes it easy to purchase their cds, see individual production slideshows and read content about all the performances. It is now easy to get involved by clicking the “Join Notification List” button in the header.
